Acrylic-polyurethane varnish for parquet


Acrylic-polyurethane varnish for parquet for efficient protection of surfaces, exposed to considerable work (mechanical) loads.
Intended for finish covering of wooden floors, parquet and other wooden surfaces.

Application of the product

Acrylic-polyurethane varnish for parquet is ready to use, if necessary – dilute with water in the amount max. 10 % from varnish volume (highly absorbing surfaces).
Mix thoroughly before application, mix along the can’s walls, not to entrap air and cause varnish foaming.
For firstly-painted surfaces: grind, remove dust and other contaminations.
For renovation of previously painted surfaces: remove particles of old flaked coating, grind and clean the surface from dust and contaminations.
For firstly-painted surface the first layer shall be applied “wet on wet” several times while varnish absorbing.
Finish coating shall be applied in 2-3 layers with undiluted varnish (interlayer interval is about 3-4 hours) and the coats shall be done with thin fine-grained polishing paper (interlayer interval is about 6-8 hours when using a grinding machine).
During the work and afterwards the premises shall be thoroughly ventilated.
Use rubber gloves for hands protection.
Instrument cleaning: water with detergent.
Keep away from fire!

Drying

2-3 hours (the coating acquires its performance properties within 2-3 weeks after application)

Consumption

10 – 12 m2/l per one-layer coating, depending on surface type and wood moisture content
