Universal rubber paint

Water-dispersion paint based on acrylic polymers, which forms an elastic, durable, and waterproof film after drying. Intended for protective and decorative painting of slate, tiles, galvanized steel, aluminum, primed ferrous metal, corrugated sheets, concrete, aerated and foam concrete, brick, plastered and puttied surfaces, plywood, particle board, cement-bonded particle board, fiberboard, wooden and gypsum board surfaces, etc. The paint can be applied to surfaces previously coated with alkyd and oil-based paints. Suitable for interior and exterior use.

Main characteristics

  • matte;
  • increased resistance to atmospheric influences, mechanical stress, ultraviolet radiation, and temperature changes;
  • resistant to intensive washing (Class 1 EN 13300);
  • highly elastic, with good adhesion to many surfaces;
  • vapour-permeable, resistant to cracking, with low water permeability (EN 1062);
  • easy to apply and dries quickly;

Application

Mix thoroughly until homogeneous before use. If necessary, add 5%–15% water depending on the application method. For surfaces being painted for the first time: remove dust and other contaminants, and degrease if necessary. For best results, mineral surfaces should be primed with TM Miks Color universal deep-penetrating primer. Metal surfaces are recommended to be treated with TM Miks Color anti-corrosion primer before painting. Apply the paint evenly in 2–3 coats using a brush, roller, or spray gun, avoiding runs. The intercoat interval is 3 hours. For renovation of previously painted surfaces: remove any flaking old coating, clean the surface from dust and dirt. If there are cracks or damaged areas, level the surface with mineral-based fillers, sand it, remove the dust, and prime it. Use rubber gloves to protect your hands. Clean tools with water and detergent.
